According to the order of the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, the combat readiness of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia has been raised, announced the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Bratislav Gašić.

"According to the order of the President of the Republic and the Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces of Serbia, I have ordered the full combat readiness of all units of the Ministry of the Interior: Gendarmerie, Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SAJ) and police brigade. They should immediately be placed under the command of the Chief of General Staff and occupy the positions provided for in the operational plan", said Gasic.
