Prime Minister of the provisional Pristina institutions Ramush Haradinaj claims that it was he who has preserved "the sovereignty" of the so-called Kosovo.

Haradinaj says he "prevented partition of Kosovo"

Speaking at a gathering of his party, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, he said that "some" had put "the sovereignty of Kosovo" on the table of EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini," without any conditions and getting something in return."

"I was told that partition of Kosovo is a done deal, that we have to give something and that we don't need some hills in the North," Haradinaj said according to Pristina daily Koha, but without specifying who told him this.

"If someone thinks that me stopping partition of Kosovo is a small matter, in which I invested so much energy and money and avoided many traps, history will convince them that this is not so," Haradinaj said.

He also observed that "some claim that 100 percent taxes on products from Serbia are helping partition Kosovo" - but added that this was "not true."
