"We noticed that Aleksandar Vucic spoke next to the sign (reading) 'Serbia', as did representatives of members of the UN Security Council, Russia, China, US, etc. (next to the names of their countries). Whereas Hashim Thaci was - next to the sign 'Hashim Thaci'. All done correctly. The UN secretary-general received the president of Serbia, while he refused a meeting with Thaci," Chepurin's tweet, written in Serbian, said.

Monday's UN Security Council session was held in New York on the request of Serbia and Russia, after Pristina last Friday decided to form an army, to which Serbia is strongly opposed. The session was open to the public.

On Tuesday morning, Serbian Foreign Minister and First Deputy PM Ivica Dacic also spoke about the differences in the presentation of Serbia and Kosovo. He pointed out that Vucic was addressed to as "president," and Thaci as "mister."
