Drecun added that it was also a hint at possible new violent actions by Pristina in the north of Kosovo, that is predominantly Serb.

"This is a dangerous unilateral move by Pristina that very much strains the situation and additionally raises tensions, but unfortunately also an announcement of new possible violent actions of Pristina in northern Kosovo," he told RTS on Friday morning.

According to him, it was clear that due to the concentration of special Kosovo forces something would happen.

"They made the concentration of special forces they needed for such actions, both the units Rosu nd FIT, that is not talked about much, that's the unit that needs to turn into a military elite formation trained by the British and the Americans. After that concentration of Kosovo forces it was clear something would happen," he said.

Drecun pointed out that the latest developments seem to be only an integral part of a broader strategy that was apparently imposed by the prime minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj, with the aim of ending any talks with Belgrade on the possibility of reaching an agreement on the final status of Kosovo and Metohija, and drawing the attention of the Kosovo public from the problems of political, social and economic nature in Kosovo.

"All this should in fact be redirecting the attention of the Albanians from the extremely difficult economic, social situation, from the many problems that they face and the failure made to strengthen the international position of this false state and the extremely unstable political situation," Drecun said.

He recalled that the current ruling coalition in Pristina does not have a majority without the votes of the Serb List, and stressed that "they want to divert their public's attention from these problems toward the hatred of the Serbs."

"Instead of having protests among Albanians because of their bad living conditions, they are setting on fire Serbian goods. And then you will send special units to the north, threaten Belgrade. Everything is going in the direction of not resuming the talks in Brussels and not reaching the final status resolution of Kosmet (Kosovo and Metohija)," Drecun said.
