He will meet with President Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, and will sign a financial agreement with the Minister for EU Integration Jadranka Joksimovic.
Vucic and Hahn will attend the signing of an agreement for the implementation of the IPA Program for the Republic of Serbia for 2017 in the amount of 41,177,139 euros.
According to the president's press service, after the signing of the agreement, media statements by two officials are planned. "It is a regular working visit in which meetings will be held dedicated to the recently held EU-Serbia Intergovernmental Conference, and a financial agreement will be signed with Joksimovic," Tanjug was told by the European Commission.
The total value of IPA for Serbia for 2017 is 138 million euros.
The European Commission has already announced that pre-accession assistance for Serbia will be increased in the upcoming period.
In the framework of the talks on the Intergovernmental Conference held on June 25 in Luxembourg, when Serbia opened two new chapters, it is expected that Hanh will reiterate to Vucic and Brnabic that Serbia has a "strong and realistic EU perspective", but also recall that the speed of Serbia's progress in accession negotiations depends on progress on the rule of law and the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
