Spanish NATO ambassador to Haradinaj: Don't call yourself PM

According to the newspaper, this was happening "on the day Spain was faced with Catalonia's independence" - and the Spanish ambassador to NATO set these conditions for officials representing Kosovo institutions to be able to attend a meeting with NATO ambassadors.

According to the daily's sources, Haradinaj responded by refusing to attend the meeting, and the subsequent joint news conference with high ranking NATO officials, held at the KFOR HQ.

The NATO delegation was led by the alliance's deputy chief, Rose Gottemoeller, who, according to the article, met with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci. The paper also said she addressed Kosovo officials only by their names, without mentioning their roles, "and taking care not to prejudice anything when it comes to Kosovo's status."

Spain is one of five EU member-states that have not recognized the unilateral declaration of independence made by Kosovo Albanians in 2008.
