"I thank PR China for the friendship and respect that it shows to Serbia," Vucic wrote.Vucic hosted a formal dinner for the high-ranking Chinese official last night, who said that Chinese President Xi Jinping and Vucic are not only partners, but also "political friends and brothers."
At the beginning of yesterday's meeting in the War Room of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Vucic and Meng "exchanged toasts," the daily Blic has reported.
Meng, who is the secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party, arrived in Serbia on Sunday for a three day visit. His delegation includes China's deputy minister of state security.
Meng on Monday met with Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic.
