Serbia and Romania to boost police cooperation

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic met on Monday in Belgrade with Romanian Ambassador to Serbia Oana-Cristina Popa.

According to the Serbian government, they "assessed that the police forces of the two countries are cooperating successfully."

At same time, Stefanovic and Popa agreed on improving this cooperation in the field of training of police officers.

Stefanovic and Popa emphasized that the training will relate to the exchange of experiences and acquisition of new knowledge and skills in the fight against terrorism, organized crime and all other forms of crime.

The interlocutors also confirmed good international operational cooperation within Interpol, as well as good friendly relations between Serbia and Romania.
