This is also true of economic progress of the Western Balkans, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday in a conversation with Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency member Mladen Ivanic.

Vucic and Ivanic, who represents Serbs in the tripartite body, met in Belgrade to discuss the situation in the region, the political and economic relations between Serbia and Bosnia, and the geopolitical situation, Tanjug reported, citing a statement issued by the Serbian president's press office.

Ivanic stressed that good-neighborly relations between Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina are "important and in the interest of the Serb people in the Serb Republic (RS) and in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

According to the statement, the two officials "spoke separately also about the position of Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and of the Serb people in general in the area of the Western Balkans."
