The daily Vecernje Novosti writes that this job has been entrusted to Ana Ilic - the new prime minister's close associate, and her cabinet chief in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, which Brnabic headed until recently.
Ilic's full role is to advise the head of Serbia's government on issues concerning film and creative industries, tourism, and digital entertainment.
In the past, Ilic for many years "dealt with Serbia" as a congress tourism and film location destination, the newspaper said.
Milan Popovic also followed Brnabic from her previous job, where he was state secretary tasked with "rationalization, state administration reform, cooperation with the EU Delegation in Serbia, the World Bank, and the IMF."
Another former Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government aide, Jelena Kovacevic, is now Brnabic's media adviser. In the past, Kovacevic was "at the helm of a large PR agency" and also headed the Defense Ministry's PR department in 2003, the daily said.
Ivona Simic has been appointed as the prime minister's adviser on human resources. Simic in the past worked as regional HR director in "two large multinational companies" and was an HR consultant for a decade on development projects carried out in Serbia by the US government agency USAID.
