Serbia's acting PM takes part in St. Petersburg forum

Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic is participating in the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, the government has announced.

Serbia has guest country status at the event, taking place May 31-June 2.

The delegation also includes Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic, Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic and Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Branislav Nedimovic.

During this event, Dacic will meet with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Rogozin, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Prime Minister of Mongolia Jargaltulgyn Erdenebat, as well as with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Szijjarto.

The participation of the Serbian delegation at the forum of such stature will undoubtedly give an additional impetus to the development of various forms of cooperation with Russia and other international partners, the government said.

"In addition, the carefully prepared performance of Serbia, focused on the presentation of our economic potential, has the aim of striking business deals and promoting a favorable business environment, on which our country is working intensively," said a statement.
