Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic has sent a message of condolences to his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu following a terrorist attack in Jerusalem.

Serbian PM offers condolences in wake of Jerusalem attack

"On behalf of the government of Serbia and on my own, I express my sincere condolences to the families and friends of those killed, you and the government of Israel."

"On this occasion, I wish to reiterate that Serbia will always be against the forces of hatred and violence, and on the side of those who support agreement, peace and life without threats and fear," Vucic stated.

According to media reports, Benjamin Netanyah has said that the driver, who used his truck to kill four people and injure least ten, "may have been an IS sympathizer."

The suspect, 28-year-old Fadi Qunbar, was shot and killed during the incident.
