President Tomislav Nikolic on Friday also said that Serbia would "otherwise have to make other moves."

When asked by reporters if his most recent statements regarding a Pristina ultimatum could be interpreted as advocating a termination of the dialogue, Nikolic responded Pristina was the one that wanted to "break off the dialogue."

Nikolic said he was confident no Serbian politician would dare to accept the conditions set by Pristina for a continuation of the dialogue, which include a recognition of Kosovo's independence.

"How would we accept conditions not even the EU has as yet decided to set?" he asked.

He said earlier the government would have his full support if it rejected Pristina's conditions.
