The Serbian foreign minister and first deputy prime minister also "reiterated that Belgrade was expecting it to resume but that it would not consent to topics outside the framework of status neutrality," Tanjug has reported.

Belgrade believes the dialogue needs to be continued and that will be a priority, but no one can count on being able to play with Serbia and setting new conditions known beforehand as unacceptable, Dacic told reporters in Jagodina.

"If they think topics like borders, war reparations, international recognition or membership in international institutions are topics we need to talk about, then we do not consent to continuing the dialogue at all. That is something there is no discussion about, we are maintaining a status-neutral dialogue," Dacic said.
