According to the Serbian government's website, they discussed "migrant crisis challenges and how to overcome it."
Stefanovic and Kouroumblis "reached agreement that none of the countries is to blame for the migrant crisis, and that it is necessary to establish a normal mechanism of readmission."
Stefanovic said that Serbia "respects the efforts that Greece has invested in order to prevent the number of illegal border crossings on the way to our country, bearing in mind that the number of migrants decreased by closing the Western Balkan route."
It was pointed out that it is necessary to establish a more efficient mechanism that would involve countries of the European Union and would clearly define the treatment of migrants.
Stefanovic said it was "important to resolve issues such as those relating to the treatment of economic migrants and of those who cannot apply for asylum in the European Union."
