Tanjug said it received confirmation of this from the Foreign Ministry.

Lopandic was recalled "due to the omissions related to the exhibition about Alojzije Stepinac in the European Parliament."

He will be replaced by Ana Hrustanovic, who until now served as the country's ambassador to Italy.

The government also replaced Serbia's ambassador to Nigeria, Jovan Maric.

These decisions were made at the proposal of the Foreign Ministry.
