Who would Putin like "in worthy places" in Serbian cabinet?
Aleksandar Vucic's <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2016&mm=05&dd=26&nav_id=98130" class="text-link" target= "_blank">unannounced visit to Moscow,</a> his meeting with Vladimir Putin, and the latter's remarks about Serbia's new cabinet have raised quite a storm.

Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti is speculating on Friday that "this could be pointing to two groups of people - those from the Socialist Party (SPS), and another from the (electoral) list gathered around the Progressives (SNS)."One of the theories presented by the paper states that Russia would like SPS leader Ivica Dacic to remain in Serbia's government, and that Moscow was "satisfied with his chairmanship over the OSCE."
According to this, it would also allegedly suit Putin for the Socialists to keep the energy portfolio, and for Dusan Bajatovic to remain at the helm of Serbia's public gas enterprise, Srbijagas.
On the other hand, the daily goes on, the Russian leader's suggestion might also be referring to those people from Vucic's electoral list who place cooperation with the Kremlin high on their list of priorities.
"Moscow sees Nenad Popovic and his SNP in that role. On the other hand, Russia would not look benevolently at Euro-Atlantic forces 'outweighing' those in the Serbian government, or if, as has been speculated, Cedomir Jovanovic's LDP were to join the ruling bloc," the article said.
"It's important to say that Moscow never presents demands and ultimatums," political analyst Dragomir Andjelkovic told the paper, adding, "this was a cordial meeting where Putin presented a plea of sorts."
He also said that Moscow "would like to see both Popovic, and Socialists remain in power."
"They don't forget past cooperation with the SPS when Dacic's (people) were a link with Moscow in the government led by the Democrats (DS)," Andjelkovic observed.
