Nikolic to meet with Putin and patriarch in Moscow in March

During his visit, Nikolic will be presented an award of the International Fund of Unity of Orthodox Peoples.

Terzic was quoted by Russian news agency TASS as saying that Serbia planned to sign a trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

"We expect that our economic relations will come to a higher level. An agreement on this with the EAEU countries has already been reached," Terzic said.

Terzic added that Serbia planned to increase exports of its agricultural products to Russia and expected growth of investment in the Serbian economy.

The issue on Serbia’s joining the North-Atlantic Alliance is not on the agenda, the ambassador said on Friday.

"Serbia is not going to join NATO. This issue is not discussed in Belgrade," TASS quoted Terzic as saying, and "also stressing that Serbia is not planning to join any other military alliance."
