"Court to rule in favor of agreement on Serb municipalities"

The SZO is envisaged in the agreement signed in August this year, reached during the EU-sponsored Belgrade-Pristina dialogue held in Brussels.

The website quoted its sources as saying the court would announce its decision "before the end of this week - more precisely before the New Year and Christmas holidays."

According to the report - the decision will state that the formation of the ZSO does not contravene with Kosovo's laws.

In late October, Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga asked the court to rule on the agreement's constitutionality after the opposition in the Kosovo assembly staged a series of protests.

Another Albanian language media outlet in Pristina, Koha, quoted western diplomatic circles earlier on Tuesday to report that the court would find "parts of the agreement" to be unconstitutional, and that such an outcome is supported by western countries.

The same article said that in this case, the agreement would be "renegotiated."
