Serbian president receives Saudi prince

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and Saudi Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud met in Belgrade on Thursday.

They "agreed that economic cooperation between the two countries has so far been insufficiently developed," and that "it is in the interest of both Serbia and Saudi Arabia to establish the best possible economic relations."

Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud pointed out on Thursday that the Saudi king is interested in establishing outstanding relations with Serbia, and that the country will open its embassy in Serbia on an accelerated basis, Nikolic's office issued in a statement.

The government of Saudi Arabia highly appreciates Serbia's positions on events in the Arab world, but also the policy of stability Serbia promotes, the prince said, and conveyed Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's greetings to President Nikolic.
