According to Nikolic, the meetings "will be friendly, but also very specific and aimed at improving overall, and especially economic cooperation."

“We started an official visit to Kazakhstan today with a clear wish to see our friendship, which has been there between our people for a very long time and which is firm and stable, further strengthened by good economic relations, and to find not only investors for Serbia, but also a market for Serbian producers in Kazakhstan,” Nikolic told Tanjug on Thursday.

President Nikolic stated that he would meet with Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev, government officials and members of parliament and stressed that one could see development in all the corners of the country and also hear everybody say that Serbia was a great friend.

“It is our big wish - and the Serbian government and I work together on it - to give presentations about those firms that could pull us forward but don’t have a real partner for that yet,” said Nikolic.
