PM reveals name of new Serbian ambassador to Germany
Serbia's newly appointed ambassador to Germany is Dusan Crnogorcevic, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has said.
Source: TanjugVucic disclosed the identity of the new ambassador in a statement for the Belgrade-based tabloid Kurir, adding that the ambassador was appointed at his initiative.
Crnogorcevic is an experienced diplomat and superior expert in the field, Vucic told Kurir news portal and added that the new ambassador is fluent in German and Swedish. Vucic expressed the belief that Crnogorcevic would represent Serbia in Germany in the best possible way.
Crnogorcevic worked in diplomatic offices worldwide, Kurir notes. He held office as the ambassador in Finland, Romania, Sweden and Latvia and he also worked as head of the negotiating team of Serbia and Montenegro for the border with Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Macedonia.
Crnogorcevic was born in Belgrade in 1948 and he graduated from the Faculty of Law there. After that, he went on to complete his magisterial studies at the Columbia University in the U.S. For a while, he also held office as deputy minister of foreign affairs.
