The diplomat conveyed Putin's gratitude for the letters he received from Nikolic, related to a draft British resolution on Srebrenica that Russia earlier this month vetoed in the UN Security Council.

In his message, Putin said that his country decided to use its veto powers proceeding from its commitment to strengthen the stability in Bosnia-Herzegovina based on the Dayton Accords, and taking into account the strategic partnership relationship between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Serbia, said a statement.
