EU's foreign policy chief mediated in Monday's round of Kosovo negotiations that ended without any agreements reached.

In a statement released after the meeting, she said that the text of two agreements was finalized - "on principles of the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo and on the implementation arrangements in the field of telecoms."

"Final political agreement however could not be reached," Mogherini said in the statement, adding that "we will now reflect on future steps."

The EU-facilitated dialogue on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina started around 9 am on Monday, resuming shortly after 8.30 pm.

The break was due to High Representative Mogherini's other engagements in the afternoon.

The agenda consisted of four major issues - the community of Serb municipalities, telecommunications, energy and Peace Park in Kosovska Mitrovica.
