Nikolic will meet with Bosnian officials in Sarajevo and then travel to Banja Luka for a visit to the Serb Republic (RS), the Serb entity in Bosnia.
This will be Nikolic's first official visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina since his election as president of Serbia in 2014.
The office of the Bosnian Presidency announced earlier on Thursday that the schedule of the visit consists of a welcoming ceremony with military honors and a subsequent meeting between Nikolic and the Presidency members.
The tripartite Presidency is comprised of Mladen Ivanic, the Serb member of the body who is also the chairman for the current eight-month term, Bosniak (Muslim) member Bakir Izetbegovic and Croat member Dragan Covic.
