The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that "the celebration (in Kiev) will be organized on the diplomatic, instead of on the political level." Serbian Ambassador to Ukraine Rade Bulatovic will attend, the MFA added.

The statement also said that Dacic and Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin spoke on the phone on Thursday when Dacic was informed about the change of format.

They also "appraised positively yesterday's meeting of the trilateral contact group in Minsk that agreed on the start of work of working groups, which will contribute to the start of the political process."

Dacic and Klimkin also confirmed that Dacic will, in his role of OSCE chairperson-in-chief, visit Ukraine in June, the Serbian MFA said.
