There are no new requirements, which is something Serbian officials know well, Maja Kocijancic added.

Commenting on Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic's recent statement that new requirements would always be set for Serbia in EU integration, the spokesperson of Federica Mogherini told the Serbian daily Danas that Serbia knew very well what it needed to do regarding EU integration.

The entire Balkans has a European future, she noted, adding that it was the EU policy, and that Serbia was a candidate for full membership in the EU and was on its way to achieving that.

All the requirements and criteria are perfectly clear and defined in advance, she stated, pointing out that the EU integration process was extremely transparent, so both the EU and Serbia "know very well what needs to be done."
