The agreement should "deepen cooperation between the two cities in several areas over the next few years."
Mali met with the Moscow Government Minister in charge of the Department for Foreign Economic Activity and International Relations, Sergei Cheryomin, with whom he discussed the agreement and its implementation.
“Our intention is to build on the strong traditional ties between Serbia and Russia and strengthen cooperation between the two cities through this agreement,” Mali told a joint press conference with Cheryomin after the meeting.
Cheryomin stated that the agreement provided for cooperation between the two cities in areas such as construction, transportation, new technologies, health and culture, over the following three years.
The meeting was attended by Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin.
