Serbia and Czech Republic have "high level ties"

Dačić and Zeman said the relations between the two countries were at a high level and characterized by intensive political dialogue, the Serbian government said.

The Czech Republic supports Serbia's EU integration, and the two countries should use any opportunities to improve their economic cooperation, the two officials noted.

Dačić stressed that Serbia was "trying to achieve agreements with Pristina in Brussels that would allow the Serb community in Kosovo to stay there and create the conditions needed for a lasting and stable peace in the region."

Zeman is on a two-day visit to Serbia. Earlier in the day he met with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić.
