BELGRADE The Serbian government established provisional institutions in 12 municipalities in Kosovo and Metohija, it was published in the Official Gazette. The provisional authorities will carry out the duties and responsibilities of municipal assemblies and executive bodies until after the holding of new elections in Kosovo, when new will be formed. Interim authorities set up in 12 Kosovo municipalities The interim bodies were set up in the municipalities of Lipljan, Strpce, Obilic, Gnjilane, Vitina, Vucitrn, Orahovac, Istok, Kosovo Polje, Kosovska Kamenica, Srbica and Gora. Each of the interim bodies will have a chairman and four members, who have already been appointed by a special decision of the Serbian government. The government appointed the following officials as the provisional institutions' chairmen: In Lipljan, Srdjan Petkovic, in Strpce, Ivana Redzic, in Obilic, Nenad Denic, in Gnjilane, Radovan Stojkovic, in Vitina, Milos Jovanovic, in Vucitrn, Desimir Miljkovic, in Orahovac, Nenad Stasic, in Istok, Malisa Djuric, in Kosovo Polje, Ljubisa Cirkovic, in Kosovska Kamenica, Milos Filic, in Srbica, Milomir Jokic, and in Gora, Adem Hodza. The mandate given to the previous mayors expired in June 2012. The interim bodies were set up in the municipalities of Lipljan, Štrpce, Obilić, Gnjilane, Vitina, Vučitrn, Orahovac, Istok, Kosovo Polje, Kosovska Kamenica, Srbica and Gora.

Each of the interim bodies will have a chairman and four members, who have already been appointed by a special decision of the Serbian government.
