A meeting between Chepurin, Vulin and Office for Kosovo Deputy Director Krstimir Pantić is currently underway.

The Russian ambassador will attend the marking of the 110th anniversary of the assassination of Russian Consul Grigori Stepanovich Shcherbina and lay a wreath to his monument in downtown Kosovska Mitrovica.

He will also participate in a debate dubbed “A mission of Russian Consul Shcherbina in the light of contemporary Russo-Serbian relations” and meet with representatives of local Russo-Serb friendship associations.

Chepurin came to Kosovska Mitrovica ahead of the next round of the Belgrade-Priština negotiations in Brussels scheduled for April 2.

Vulin said ahead of the meeting with the Russian ambassador that top Serbian officials' stance was that nothing that would be detrimental to people living in the province would be done.
