Dačić announces talks on govt. with URS leader

Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) leader Ivica Dacic and United Regions of Serbia (URS) leader Mladjan Dinkic will discuss forming of the government on Saturday. Dacic told reporters in Belgrade that he and the URS leader would talk about Dinkic’s meetings with EU officials in Brussels. Dacic announces talks on govt. with URS leader He noted that the URS leader in Brussels attended annual meeting of the European People's Party (EPP), the biggest MP group in the European Parliament (EP). “In that sense I expect that a circle of consultations on the new government of three groups, gathered around the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), SPS-led coalition and URS, will be officially closed in the next several days,” the SPS leader and PM-designate explained. He announced that he would talk to everybody who wanted to talk, adding that he wanted everybody to know what he would do as a prime minister and what the program and goals of the Serbian government would look like. “I expect to discuss this with other relevant political factors, but with institutions as well,” Dacic said. He stressed that the future government would not be formed for the sake of politicians and that it needed be done for the people.
