Pensioners: Democrats "will secure majority soon”
Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) leader Jovan Krkobabić hopes that the Democrats will find a way to secure the parliamentary majority in two days.

Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) leader Jovan Krkobabic hopes that the Democrats will find a way to secure the parliamentary majority in two days. He told reporters that the PUPS would decide whether it would be a part of the parliamentary majority if it was formed by somebody else instead of the Democratic Party (DS) and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS)-led coalition. Pensioners: Democrats "will secure majority soon” Krkobabic noted that his party would decide on the third partner, i.e. whether it would be the United Regions of Serbia (URS) or the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), when time comes. When asked whether URS and LDP’s participation in the government would mean stability, he said: “I would not say so, I do not want to comment, you will see in the end”. According to the PUPS leader, the party is not asking for ministerial positions in the future government and it is only interested in providing a better life to the citizens. “The significance of the forming of the government is big and whether investments will start today or tomorrow does not depend on the government, it depends on prepared talks with foreign partners,” Krkobabic pointed out. “It is absolutely exaggerated when you connect those things and say that the forming of the government is significant because of foreign investments,” he concluded.
