New Serbia (NS) deputy leader Dubravka Filipovski has said that the government is using the state budget to finance a "dirty campaign" against their coalition. “Serbia cannot allow the government to use EUR 4mn from the citizens’ budget for a dirty campaign against us (the Serbian Progressive Party-led coalition),” she pointed out. “Govt. paid for campaign against SNS-led coalition” “The money could have been used to reduce unemployment,” Filipovski said on Sunday. She noted that the SNS-led coalition had a short-term economic plan which would allow the coalition, if it came to power, to revive production and create new jobs. “We have prepared a set of measures, such as regulation of public procurement, changes in the tax policy that will balance the budget and the citizens will thanks to the short-term measures feel the improvement in the first six months,” she explained. The NS representatives assessed that the Republic Broadcasting Agency (RRA) should intervene and react to Democratic Party (DS) presidential candidate Boris Tadic’s election videos because “use of children for political purposes is strictly forbidden”.
