Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic says she will call local elections on March 13 - the same day the president will announce a date for the parliamentary ballot. Djukic-Dejanovic stressed, however, that local elections would only be held in those municipalities where the councilors' mandates had expired. Speaker: Parliamentary, local elections will coincide "Everywhere else, there will be no local elections," the speaker said, addressing a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Kosovo and Metohija, dedicated to the issue of the holding of elections in that province. "Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia and that applies also to the province," she said on the issue of local elections. Djukic-Dejanovic also told the committee that she "understood its need to discuss all current issues". Also on Wednesday, a member of the presidency of the ruling Democratic Party said that it was possible that presidential elections would also be held in the spring.
