Kosovo Serbs expect declaration to yield results

Serbs in Kosovo say <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2011&mm=07&dd=31&nav_id=75684" class="text-link" target= "_blank">the Serbian parliament declaration</a> on Kosovo was very important, and expect that it will bring about concrete results in the field.

Serbs in Kosovo say the Serbian parliament declaration on Kosovo was very important, and expect that it will bring about concrete results in the field. Head of the Kosovska Mitrovica District Radenko Nedeljkovic told Tanjug that the adoption of the Declaration in the Serbian parliament is an important step and a basis for the further measures which should be taken by the Serbian government. Kosovo Serbs expect declaration to yield results “The Declaration is a platform which should be the basis for a complete plan on further measures that the government needs take in this area,” Nedeljkovic said. Zubin Potok Municipal President Slavisa Ristic told Tanjug that he hopes for the Declaration to yield concrete results. “Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija have expected a more precise message, but I want to believe that Serbia will stand by our side,” he said. Ristic added that that the unity of Serbs is necessary not only in Kosovo but also in central Serbia due to the ongoing situation. Serbs at the Rudare barricade (Beta)
