Kosovo police have harassed Serb returnee student Milovan Ostojić because of a student report card issued by the state of Serbia.

Kosovo police have harassed Serb returnee student Milovan Ostojic because of a student report card issued by the state of Serbia. Ostojic said the police officers started harassing him when they saw the documents from his faculty. Serb returnee student harassed by Kosovo police “I had an essay and a report card. Since they saw that it said College of Economics Pec – Leposavic in the report card they started the harassment. They said that if the school is from Pec or from Leposavic it should say Kosovo and not Serbia, because both Pec and Leposavic are in Kosovo,” he explained. According to him, one of the policemen wanted to seize his report card but eventually decided not to. Police released Ostojic after holding him for several hours and searching his car.

“I had an essay and a report card. Since they saw that it said College of Economics Peć – Leposavić in the report card they started the harassment. They said that if the school is from Peć or from Leposavić it should say Kosovo and not Serbia, because both Peć and Leposavić are in Kosovo,” he explained.

According to him, one of the policemen wanted to seize his report card but eventually decided not to.

Police released Ostojić after holding him for several hours and searching his car.
