Kosovo Albanian government's FM Skender Hyseni met at the UN headquarters in New York with officials of several countries, calling for new Kosovo recognitions. He said that Kosovo’s independence “does not represent a precedent for any country in the world,” German news agency DPA reported. "Kosovo does not set precedent" Hyseni expresses that he hopes that Kosovo’s independence would be recognized by Spain and Greece, who are among the countries that are worried that establishing diplomatic relations with Pristina could encourage secessionist movements on their own territories.
