Democratic Party (DS) Whip Nada Kolundzija says that the authorities should ascertain whether the October 11 rally is being organized by neo-Nazi groups. “The authorities first need to decide whether that's what they are or aren’t. If they decide they are, those organizations should be outlawed, and then it’s no longer a question of their holding a rally, but of whether such organizations should even exist,“ Kolundzija told journalists in parliament. DS: Outlaw neo-Nazi groups She said that Serbian law prohibited the existence of such neo-Nazi organizations. “If that qualification is accurate for some of these organizations, they should not exist and then the question of meeting becomes but a secondary issue,“ said Kolundzija. The Liberal Democratic Party has called on MUP to ban the rally scheduled for October 11, stating that it is being organized by neo-Nazi organizations. Last year on the same date in Novi Sad, clashes broke out between right-wing extremists who scheduled, then later called off a rally, and anti-Fascists holding an counter rally.
