"We spoke both about the topics that we discussed while I was president, and about the situation where Russia is defending itself from one part of the world, as well as bout the situation in Serbia, a country that is not being allowed to conduct its policy in peace, without tying itself to anyone," Nikolic, who now heads Serbia's National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with Russia and China, told Sputnik.

While in Moscow, Nikolic also visited the Serbian embassy where he met with more than 40 Serbian businesspeople working in Russia, and with Serbian students in the Russian capital. He heard about the problems and administrative obstacles that Serbians face as they do business in Russia, or attempt to find employment there.
