A man in Strpce, a town in Kosovo, is suspected of murdering one of his two-month old twins and seriously injuring the other, RTK2 is reporting on Tuesday.

Father of 2-month old twins kills one, injures other

The baby who died was stabbed in the neck and succumbed to the injury while being transported from Strpce to Gracanica.

The second baby was stabbed in the stomach and has been taken to the town of Nis, in the south of central Serbia.

The twins were boys born two months ago. According to unofficial information cited by RTK2, their father, 36-year-old D.K., is a gym teacher who works in a high school in Strpce.

The police "immediately arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect," the report said.
