There were "originally" Interpol notices for 157 persons, but the list was reduced to 22, the Pristina-based Albanian language broadcaster said.

After Haradinaj was arrested in France, the Kosovo government asked the police to ask Interpol for the names of the persons in question.

According to the report, the list includes former KLA commanders Azem Syla and Shukri Buja, and high-ranking Kosovo police member Fadil Suljevic.

RTK said that the list contains the names of other persons "not known to the public."
