Murdered folk singer's husband passes lie detector test
Zoran Marjanovic, the husband of Jelena Marjanovic, has passed a lie detector test, but remains in police custody, daily Blic is reporting.
33-year-old folk singer Jelena Marjanovic was found murdered over the weekend.
The newspaper is reporting that some other family members will undergo polygraph testing, "which does not automatically mean they are the suspects, or under investigation - instead, this is the usual procedure in such cases."
Another Belgrade daily, Vecernje Novosti, said that Zoran Marjanovic's father Vladimir was questioned by the police and later released.
Jelena Marjanovic's husband reported her missing on Saturday, when she went out jogging along an embankment in Belgrade's Borca settlement and never returned home.
Her body was found on Sunday in the canal under the embankment. The newspaper said it learned that the victim suffered severe head trauma, caused by a sharp object.
