Drugs worth at least EUR 1.36 million have also been seized.

Two Croatian citizens are suspected of smuggling the cocaine from South America to the Netherlands, where another Croatian kept it hidden in a storage facility near Rotterdam.

From there, the drugs were distributed to Austria, Croatia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The suspects are charged with acquiring and selling around 34 kilograms of cocaine last year, of which 7.7 kilograms were recovered by the police in six separate raids in Croatia, Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands.

During the arrest of the group of suspects, "a sizable" amount of cash was also found and confiscated, as well as business documentation that is being linked with money laundering, Tanjug reported on Monday.
