Serb employed by police stabbed in K. Mitrovica

Two masked perpetrators attacked 35-year-old Serb Časlav Ilicć from Kosovska Mitrovica on Friday morning, stabbing him several times in the stomach.

Ili's condition is not critical, but he is receiving medical treatment at the Kosovska Mitrovica hospital.

The incident took place in front of a student hall of residence in northern Kosovska Mitrovivca, when the two masked attackers approached Ilić, and one stabbed him several times.

Ilić's brother Milan told reporters that he suspects that “the top tier of the Mitrovica region police” was behind the attack.

Ilić works for the Kosovo police.

In front of the student hall of residence, where the attack took place, the Kosovo police are now examining the site, and the place where the incident happened has been marked with yellow tape.
