Judge refuses to give passport back to Delta owner

Mišković was released from jail last July on EUR 12 million bail, when his passport was confiscated and he was ordered not to leave his place of residence.

In the meantime, he asked the court to allow him to travel abroad for business meetings on three occasions, and was granted the privilege once.

Mišković, his son Marko, Nibens Group owner Milo Đurašković, and several other defendants are on trial for allegedly extracting money from road construction companies and in this way incurring financial damages worth RSD 16.95 billion to the companies in question, and an additional RSD 472 million to the state budget.

The indictment also charges them of abuse of official position and tax evasion.
