Serbia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, who heads the bureau, announced this late the same day.

He said that prosecutors estimate, based on the evidence produced by the police, that at least 250 people will be prosecuted.

“This is fascinating good news for the citizens of Serbia,” Vučić was quoted as saying.

He added that the police found a total of 250 persons in possession of drugs or weapons and that the evidence will be used to launch court procedures against these individuals.

“We literally found arsenals of weapons, not to mention drugs,” said Vučić.
