Court sets EUR 12mn bail for Delta Holding owner

Miroslav Mišković will be released from custody if he deposits EUR 12 million in bail money, the Higher Court in Belgrade has decided.

BELGRADE Miroslav Miskovic will be released from custody if he deposits EUR 12 million in bail money, the Higher Court in Belgrade has decided. The owner of Serbia's largest privately-held company, Delta Holding, was arrested late last year and kept in custody ever since on corruption charges. Court sets EUR 12mn bail for Delta Holding owner The court specified that the equivalent of the said sum must be deposited in Serbian dinars, and in cash. "After submitting proof to the court that the sum had been deposited, the accused Miroslav Miskovic will be released," a statement issued on Friday said. Miskovic will also be prohibited from leaving his place of residence, and will have to report to the police once a month. His passport will be temporarily confiscated, the court said.
