Privatization Agency officials arrested

The police have arrested two officials of the Privatization Agency on suspicion of malfeasance during the sale of Tehnohemija, the Interior Ministry has stated.

Aleksandar Vučetić, member of the committee on determining the fulfilment of Privatization Agency purchase and sale contracts and former head of the legal section for the representation of the agency, was arrested.

Ljiljana Mlađan, member of the committee and former head of the agency centre for legal affairs, was also arrested.

The charges also include Miodrag Đorđević, head of the committee and former director of the agency, who is already in custody in the case concerning the privatization of Port of Belgrade.

They were arrested on suspicion of enabling Rista Gojković, the buyer of a 70 percent share of Tehnohemija, to gain EUR 430,000.


MICT to consider prosecution's appeal in Seselj case

The Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals (MICT) will on Wednesday hold a hearing on the prosecution appeal against the verdict in the Seselj trial.
