Ethnic Albanians attack Serb returnees

Zvečan-based Most television has reported that a group of ethnic Albanians barged into the village of Grabac near Klina last night.

According to the report, the Albanians broke windows on houses and auxiliary buildings in an attempt to rob them.

A Grabac resident suffered minor injuries when he was hit by a rock thrown at his window by the attackers.

The Serbs were especially alarmed after the attackers fired shots while they were leaving the village, Most TV has reported.

About a dozen Serb returnees live in Grabac and they have often been targeted by ethnic Albanians in the last five years, ever since a KFOR checkpoint was removed.

Police came to the scene and the attack was also reported to KFOR. The perpetrators have not been found yet.
